How long will it take to heal?
It is unlikely that you will have any side effects apart from a little redness which may last 4-6 hours.
What is the difference between Micro Needling and Dermal Rolling?
Micro Needling is a more effective way of stimulating skin regeneration. The needling pen can penetrate into the epidermis and the dermis layer of the skin making it more effective than home rolling systems. It is also a lot safer than home kits as well, as a new sterile needle is used for each session eliminating the risk of infection from bacteria in a needle head that has been used multiple times at home.
How long do Micro Needling results last?
Immediately following treatment, the skin "glows" with visible changes developing over the course of the next few days and weeks. Because Micro Needling stimulates the growth of collagen, you will continue to see improvements up to six months after treatment as the collagen production continues. Collagen gives skin its elasticity and firmness so anything you do to increase its production is well worth the effort.
What areas can be treated with Micro Needling?
Although most commonly used on the face for fine lines and wrinkles, Micro Needling is not limited to that area. Anywhere there is acne or other scars, stretch marks, uneven pigmentation or even areas with cellulite will benefit from Micro Needling. The head can also be Micro Needled to stimulate hair growth.
How much does Micro Needling cost?
A Micro Needling treatment on the whole face costs $300. The principle behind Micro Needling is the same as the Fraxel Laser, but at a fraction of the cost. That makes Micro Needling a very effective and affordable way to achieve results you will love.
Is it true that Micro Needling can help hair growth?
Micro needling can definitely help with hair growth. Not only can it be used alone, it is also often used as a pre-treatment for hair growth stimulation. The needles penetrate the top layers of the scalp allowing higher penetration of topical scalp treatment products used to treat hair loss and re-grow hair.
